Lucky Dangle (com.luckydanglecharm.android)

This policy explains what information the App handles. By using Lucky Dangle, you agree to it.

1. Who we are

Lucky Dangle is an independent Android app. Contact: the support email on the Google Play listing, or sriramnat10@gmail.com.

2. Summary

Charm settings (which dangle, hang position and height, overlay on/off, idle sway, custom emoji, ritual count) are stored on your device only. If Firebase is configured, Google Firebase Analytics may receive which dangle you select, hang, or ritual. Crashlytics may receive crash reports. We do not ask for your name or email. We do not sell personal information.

3. On your device

The App saves selected charm id (for example nazar, ghanta), overlay on/off, hang position and height, idle sway, custom emoji, and ritual count in Android DataStore. This stays on the phone unless you clear app data, uninstall, or restore a backup. Android Auto Backup may copy it to your Google account if backups are enabled. We do not upload this store to our own servers. There is no Lucky Dangle account.

4. Analytics and crashes

If google-services.json is included, the App uses Google Firebase.

Analytics events:

• select_dangle — you tap a charm in the gallery (dangle_id, dangle_kind)
• use_dangle — you hang a charm on the screen (dangle_id, dangle_kind)
• ritual_dangle — you flick, bless, or tap the overlay (dangle_id, dangle_kind)

User property: current_dangle (id of the last selected or hung charm). These are charm identifiers, not your name. Google may also collect standard SDK data such as app instance id, device and OS version, country/region, and session information. See Firebase privacy documentation.

Crashlytics (if enabled) may include stack traces, device model, OS version, and crash details, used to fix bugs.

Google LLC processes this data. It may be stored in the United States or other countries where Google operates.

5. What we do not collect

The overlay draws a charm over other apps. It does not screenshot or record other apps, read their content, or access contacts, photos, microphone, or location. Custom emoji is stored locally and is not sent in the Analytics events listed above.

6. Permissions

• Internet / network — analytics and crash reports.
• Display over other apps — hang the charm.
• Foreground service / notifications — keep the overlay running.
• Vibration — optional haptic for the ghanta ring.
• Boot completed — restore the overlay after reboot if you left it on.

7. Children

The App is general audience, not directed at children under 13 (or the age required where you live). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Retention

On device: until you clear storage or uninstall, subject to device backup. Firebase/Google: according to Google Analytics retention and Google’s policies. We do not keep a separate charm history on our own servers.

9. Your choices

• Turn the overlay off or uninstall.
• Clear Lucky Dangle storage in Android Settings.
• Limit ads/analytics in your Google account or device settings.
• For deletion or export of Analytics data, use Google’s tools or contact us via the Play listing. We cannot look up your data by email because we do not run accounts.

10. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data with Google (Firebase) as described, if required by law, or if the project is transferred.

11. Security

Local settings use the Android app sandbox. Traffic to Google uses HTTPS. No method is perfectly secure.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date will change. Continued use means you accept the revised policy.
